Monday laugh!

So, about a week ago I walk into Honour's room after nap time and find this...

Diaper off, wet bed!

AND she's done it once more!

Made me laugh ... Slade NEVER did this.

She now goes to bed with her diaper covered, Ha!

Just in case anyone needed a good laugh!

Sewing...

Me, YES!

I still can't believe it, HA

I would have never thought this would be something I would become so addicted to!:)

BUT after hearing & seeing all the cute stuff my friends would make I thought why not give it a try! Although, I'm not even close to where I would like to be I have enjoyed the few things I've made!

So, I thought I would share a few of my accomplishments!:)

"Necklace"

I found this idea off etsy.

It would have been better on a onesie or t-shirt because you can't really see the sewing attaching them all together giving it the necklace look ... but still cute!:)

Being the Cowboy fans we are I HAD to make this & of course Jeff loved it!

My first sewing job as gifts...

Jeff's cousin has 2 girls and they had their birthday parties together last Saturday.

I made these shirts for them and they were a big hit.

Everyone was asking where I got them and it felt so good to say,

"I made them"!:)

Honour, 8 months

New & big things are starting to happen in your life now...

You have gone from being this little baby that I could hold and cuddle to being very active!

The crawling hasn't officially started yet but you have no problem getting where and what you want by turning and scooting!

We have also been experiencing all the fun that comes with "separation issues",

for some reason you think my days should only consist of holding and caring for you!:)

I do LOVE the personalty that you have come to develop BUT it does remind me daily that you are definitely a little girl, Ha!

I just love a sleeping baby ... so sweet!

You still love your sleep and are such a great sleeper!

At times when you are fine but just wanting to be held and crying I put you in your bed which I don't think gets the point across because you just go right to sleep.

It's not punishment for you, Ha!

You've seen your first fireworks show and not a surprise you LOVED it!:)

God knew what He was doing when He gave you your personalty!

He knew just what you would need with an older brother.

You have no problems hanging with him...

That night made me realize you ARE a little "FIRECRACKER":)

Buggy time!

So long carrier...

You just love sitting up and looking around at everything.

Your brother has also enjoyed this very much! I think he feels like you are more like him!:)

Yep, you have entered the world of "cheerios"

You eat them like a pro:)

It sure does make dinner time more enjoyable for you!

No more sitting in your empty highchair watching all of us eat.

You can now munch away with us!

Sand & Water

To boys there is just nothing better!

During servolution week we had the opportunity to hang with Gavin and the boys had so much fun as they always do!

I absolutely LOVE being a mommy to a boy! It brings so much adventure in a whole different way:)

They thought it was so funny to lay down and roll around in the sand.

Slade enjoys doing anything that gets him all dirty, ALL boy!:)

...and they actually both looked at me - those are hard to come by, ha!

See what I mean! O'well they had a great time and that makes me happy!:)

Why is it that just playing in the sand isn't enough, ha!
Obviously, it's more fun if your throwing it, pouring it on your friend, or throwing it out of the sand box! :)

Slade managed to get himself covered from head to toe!
Which meant water time before going back in the house ...

Getting rinsed off!

This was just as much fun as playing in the sand!
They were having so much fun running around and coming back for more.

"again" - that's what they kept saying:)

So, sand & water ... makes for a great summer day with friends and you can tell by their faces they enjoyed every minute of it!

Honour, 7 months

I just can't believe my baby is already 7 mo.!

Honour, you are such an amazing little girl!

At 7 mo. you have the biggest personality and are so, so cute.

You are doing so many things...

You are sitting up great, smiling ALL the time and

just this past week you have started baby talk . It is super cute!

You CAN say "da-da" and you get so excited!:)

You LOVE playing with your brother and his toys and

for some reason his toys are much cooler than yours!:)

You two are so cute together ... and Slade is so sweet to you and always makes sure

you don't get anything that would hurt you, Makes me smile!

You tried and tried to get in that bucket, ha!

Yep, you have an older brother!

You are such a good and easy baby!

You were actually sitting up playing and happen to fall back on that pillow!

You just went with it, ha!

6 Months

Is it really true? My baby girl is 6 mo. - 1/2 way to a yr. old! :(

Well, the time sure does go by fast! I remember just finding out that I was having a GIRL! She has filled our lives and days with lots of laughter. She has the funniest BIG personality for her size! :) Let's just say God knew what she would need to handle her big brother! She has no problem letting us know if he's doing something she doesn't like ... cracks us up!

At 6 mo. she is eating really well! Drinking 6 oz. of milk every 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. & she LOVES her cereal, veggies & fruit! Sleeping 11 - 12 hrs. at night, such an awesome sleeper. We just need to work on a nap schedule. It's getting better but still not consistent. She just loves to sleep all the time, Ha!

She is getting so BIG!

March...

First tooth & potty trained.

So, Honour is already 5 mo. & weighing in at 16 lbs. right now! :) Yep, she really enjoys her food but I have to admit her chubby arms & legs are just too cute! She is still a super good baby and a GREAT sleeper. I'm super blessed! :)

She has been teething for a while now and March 29 was the big day. Her first bottom tooth broke through! Yayyy! :) That's always so exciting! The second one isn't far behind either. You can already see the white on the surface! She has been such a trooper during this time! How did I get blessed with TWO good teether's! Thank you Lord! :):)

There is no use in straighting her up, Ha!

She always goes right back to this position. :)

I just LOVE those eyes!

... and Slade, fully potty trained! WOW, I didn't know if this day would ever come, Ha! He has been pooping on the potty for several months now but that's all he would do. Well, since the beginning of March he has been completely potty trained and wearing "big boy" underwear! It was a bitter sweat moment. My baby boy running around in underwear, ugh! Only makes him look that much older now! :( We are super proud of him though!
