Sand & Water

To boys there is just nothing better!

During servolution week we had the opportunity to hang with Gavin and the boys had so much fun as they always do!

I absolutely LOVE being a mommy to a boy! It brings so much adventure in a whole different way:)

They thought it was so funny to lay down and roll around in the sand.

Slade enjoys doing anything that gets him all dirty, ALL boy!:)

...and they actually both looked at me - those are hard to come by, ha!

See what I mean! O'well they had a great time and that makes me happy!:)

Why is it that just playing in the sand isn't enough, ha!
Obviously, it's more fun if your throwing it, pouring it on your friend, or throwing it out of the sand box! :)

Slade managed to get himself covered from head to toe!

They were having so much fun running around and coming back for more.

So, sand & water ... makes for a great summer day with friends and you can tell by their faces they enjoyed every minute of it!

Honour, 7 months

I just can't believe my baby is already 7 mo.!

Honour, you are such an amazing little girl!

At 7 mo. you have the biggest personality and are so, so cute.

You are doing so many things...

You are sitting up great, smiling ALL the time and

just this past week you have started baby talk . It is super cute!

You CAN say "da-da" and you get so excited!:)

You LOVE playing with your brother and his toys and

for some reason his toys are much cooler than yours!:)

You two are so cute together ... and Slade is so sweet to you and always makes sure

you don't get anything that would hurt you, Makes me smile!

You tried and tried to get in that bucket, ha!

Yep, you have an older brother!

You are such a good and easy baby!

You were actually sitting up playing and happen to fall back on that pillow!

You just went with it, ha!

6 Months

Is it really true? My baby girl is 6 mo. - 1/2 way to a yr. old! :(

Well, the time sure does go by fast! I remember just finding out that I was having a GIRL! She has filled our lives and days with lots of laughter. She has the funniest BIG personality for her size! :) Let's just say God knew what she would need to handle her big brother! She has no problem letting us know if he's doing something she doesn't like ... cracks us up!

At 6 mo. she is eating really well! Drinking 6 oz. of milk every 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. & she LOVES her cereal, veggies & fruit! Sleeping 11 - 12 hrs. at night, such an awesome sleeper. We just need to work on a nap schedule. It's getting better but still not consistent. She just loves to sleep all the time, Ha!

She is getting so BIG!

March...

First tooth & potty trained.

So, Honour is already 5 mo. & weighing in at 16 lbs. right now! :) Yep, she really enjoys her food but I have to admit her chubby arms & legs are just too cute! She is still a super good baby and a GREAT sleeper. I'm super blessed! :)

She has been teething for a while now and March 29 was the big day. Her first bottom tooth broke through! Yayyy! :) That's always so exciting! The second one isn't far behind either. You can already see the white on the surface! She has been such a trooper during this time! How did I get blessed with TWO good teether's! Thank you Lord! :):)

... and Slade, fully potty trained! WOW, I didn't know if this day would ever come, Ha! He has been pooping on the potty for several months now but that's all he would do. Well, since the beginning of March he has been completely potty trained and wearing "big boy" underwear! It was a bitter sweat moment. My baby boy running around in underwear, ugh! Only makes him look that much older now! :( We are super proud of him though!

4 Months

My baby girl.

She was 4 months on Feb. 27 and life with her is still super sweet! She is ALWAYS smiling and has now started laughing out ... makes for super sweet moments.

One of her favorite things to do right now is sitting in her bumbo chair & watching Slade play. Her face just lights up when watching him and he just has to say one word to her which brings the biggest smile to her face! :)

I believe the teething process has also started which is always hard & sad. She has started eating less, screaming out of the blue, and spitting up a little. The past 2 days have been a little tough for her but she has still been a little trooper! Her favorite thing right now is gnawing on those little fingers.

It's always those three! :)

Snow!

So we have spent the last 2 days freezing outside but having so much fun! It has been extremely special watching the snow falling and covering the ground because it has made Slade so happy! I couldn't wait for him to wake up Thursday morning! His 1st time to really ever experience snow and it was priceless! One of the many reasons I enjoy being a mommy! Makes every thing a little more special! :)

Snow Day #1

Slade became very good friends with Sam, the snowman. :) After getting ready for bed while I was putting him down he asked "where's Sam" I told him Sam was outside and he then replied "I want to give him a hug" It's going to be a sad day when Sam melts away! :(

Snow Day #2

We spent the day at my moms house playing out in the snow ... Slade & Jeff just can't get enough of it! :) Honour and I like to stay inside where it's nice and warm! :)

... and of course it wouldn't be any fun without cars :)

But we just couldn't leave Honour out completely! She had to take her 1st pictures in the snow and might I add she is wearing the same hat that Slade wore his 1st snow day!

We will all be sad when all the snow has melted away and we see no more white but we have made some wonderful memories and have had a great time! Thank you Lord for the snow! :)

3 mo. & the BIG bed ...

Yep, that's right 3 mo.! I can't believe it ... where did my little baby go? Honour has brought SO much more joy & happiness to our family! We are now blessed with double and loving every minute of it! I told my mom how amazing it was that you can LOVE two kids SO much! I remember talking to my mom one day after having Slade and saying how can I ever love another as much as I love him? Well, it happened! :)

Honour is a really good baby, happy and always smiling! I do have to admit though a little more demanding than Slade ever was but that's okay! :) It's crazy how two kids can be so different! She has the most amazing personalty and keeps us laughing all the time. We just love her to pieces!

That face just melts my heart!

... and now Slade has moved into his "big boy bed" I was so nervous about it because I was afraid that he would get down and not stay in his bed. It just seemed like a lot for a little guy to take in ... stay in your bed, sleep on your pillow, and stay under the covers. Slade was all over his baby bed and so I had lots of concerns but he's done GREAT! Such a big boy and it was so cute the first night watching him on the monitor tuck himself in and cover up! My little boy is growing up way too fast! :(

1st night

Then the other day I heard Slade in his room "no cry Yoda" I was busy in the living room when he came walking out saying "shh, Yoda's nite-nite" he had turned his noise maker on, pulled back the covers tucked Yoda in and turned off the light. Too cute...
